Professor Samantha Johnson
Samantha Johnson is a Professor of Child Development at the Department of Health Sciences, University of Leicester. She has a programme of research focused on understanding and improving developmental and educational outcomes for children born preterm.
Samantha has contributed to national working groups and advisory panels including the development of the NICE Guideline for the follow-up of children born preterm. Her research includes the development of the Preterm Birth E-Learning Resource for education professionals and the Parent Report of Children’s Abilities-Revised (PARCA-R) parent questionnaire.
