Dr. Helen Mactier
Helen is a Neonatologist and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Glasgow. After early post-graduate training in Glasgow Helen undertook two years’ research in the US before a very protracted maternity break. She is proud to have been the first part-time paediatric trainee in Scotland and is currently President of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine.
Helen has chaired BAPM working groups including neonatal parenteral nutrition and transitional care. She is delighted to be presenting the recently revised BAPM Framework for Practice for the management of extreme preterm birth in what promises to be a fascinating opening session of Perinatal 2020.
